Our jet boats are a personal water craft that you drive. It's as easy as turning the throttle and steering. No experience is necessary. Young and old, big and small can enjoy these wonderfully stable and easy-to-maneuver watercraft.
Each boat can hold one adult and one child under the age of ten. The Coast Guard approved watercraft can go 15 mph on the water. They handle very well in the Kona, Hawaii waters. The benefit of the speed, of course, is that you can go a lot farther than the self-propelled kayak tours, and because you're not on a big boat, you will be able to explore the coastline like no other tours.
What will you see on your tour? For the Kona tours, we will take you along the Kona coastline, where you will see caves where the Ali'i (Hawaiian royalty) lived and buried their war heroes. You will also be able to see the revered sea turtles and perhaps even encounter a group of spinner dolphins. During the whale season in Hawaii, there is even the possibly of seeing (at the legal distance, of course) whales breaching the surface. Nature, however, is unpredictable, so what you see on your Kona Jet Boat tour will vary. Every day is a new adventure at Kona Jet Boats!
